Core Samples

DSDP and ODP cores are stored in repositories worldwide (see Core Repositories below for the current distribution). In general, samples from the cores are available for research by any scientist who has the resources to conduct the proposed study, as well as to museums and educators. Policies governing the distribution of samples, and detailed information regarding submission of sample requests are contained in the ODP Sample Distribution, Data Distribution and Publications Policy.
